Mountains by the Lake
Acrylics on drywall. Approximately 7-foot x 16-foot. One of K. L. Todd’s earlier murals, painted in a friend’s home in the mid-1980s. Their son had brain damage since birth and was on a regimen that included creeping and crawling along this wall. Not only did this mountain scene give him plenty to look at as he went by, but his parents could enjoy it as the dream vacation that they were unable to take. For fun a bit of peanut butter was put on the fish that the racoon caught to stage a playful picture.
